The last few weeks have been intense on the world stage. We’ve seen the release of
several Israeli hostages, a partial ceasefire taking hold in Gaza, and renewed efforts
from nations around the world trying, again, to negotiate some form of peace in this
troubled region.
But these events naturally raise bigger questions for anyone who reads the Bible and
cares about God’s plan:
What do the Scriptures actually say about the last days?
Is a divided land with a Palestinian state…the “fair” and inevitable solution?
And most importantly: how does God feel about His land being divided?
Many assume division is the only practical outcome. But the Bible has a very
different perspective – one that is clear, challenging, and deeply relevant to what
we’re watching unfold right now.
If you’d like to explore this further, we highly recommend this short but compelling
YouTube presentation from the Weekly World Watch team:
“Israel: Land Divided, Fate Decided.” It was first posted on 21 August, but its
relevance today is striking.
